About Me

Entering the art world

As part of the completion of my degree, my peers and I put on a collective exhibition. This was a way for us to gain a better understanding of the formal art world and what details we would have to achieve to make a successful collaboration. To do so we needed to accomplish the following;

Find an appropriate gallery, raise funds to pay for it’s rental, lock in a date, send a letter of intent to the university, start a marking campaign, design flyers and media to promote the event. Make a program outline, create a floor plan for the different artists and set up a bar for refreshments. The event was very successful.

Well educated and ready for anything!

I grew up in a smaller city just outside the island of Montreal. Since I was young I was a very creative and an expressive individual. As I grew up my mentors strongly suggested to peruse a carrier in the arts. I attend Champlain college for my D.E.C in creative arts and majored in digital imaging and studio arts. Afterwards I attended Concordia University for my  B.F.A and majored in inter-media cyber arts which at the time was the most selective arts major, only allowing 72 students in per year.

passion like no other

Music has always played a big part of my life. I have been blessed with some natural talent  and was encouraged to play piano by my parents when I was 7 years old. Then when I was 12 I took classical guitar lessons and then moved to bass guitar and trumpet in high school. From collage on wards I have been apart of musical projects and have used my knowledge of sound, music and performance in almost every project I have been a part of.

1st - place - bassist

While attending college my musical band at the time had entered the “Live n’ Dirty” battle of the bands. The event would span over the course of a few months and would consist of many live shows. Almost 100 bands competed for the top three spots. My band had made it to the final round but unfortunately would only place 4th. I was awarded best bassist and was given a bran new bass guitar from Ibanez, that I still play to this day.

Making the big jump !

During  the end of my time in university I was working as a manager at a high end bistro in Montreal. It was hard to do both but I was very determined. Even though I loved my job something was still calling to me, I needed more. So I finally decided follow to my passion full heartily. I have never looked back since and have been a part of some amazing things like being a guest artist at conventions and making work that people recognize.

now and the future

As I continue to move forward and grow, better and larger milestone become achieved. I have been able to work on more grander scale projects with fantastic franchises and individuals. Now I can’t wait to make that big new step, to look forward and to face new challenges!
